Here is Tilda's Jumps W/ Weaves run for Thursday.

Trial Results #2

Today was our second and final day at the agility trial. In Novice Standard. Tilda qualified and took first! This was Tilda's third Q in Novice Standard. So Tilda now has her Novice Standard Title! She did have 95 points, we didn't get 100 because she jumped off the table.

However Gracie did not Q in Novice Standard and neither did Buddy. 

In Novice Jumps With Weaves Tilda Q'd and took first with 100 points! This was also Tilda's third Q in Novice Jumps With Weaves. So she now also has her Novice Jumps With Weaves Title! 
It was a great day for Tilda, of course since she qualified she didn't knock any bars! We will be off to Open now! 

In Gracie's Novice Jumps With Weaves run she also Q'd and took first! That was also Gracie's third Q in Novice Jumps With Weaves, so that gave her, her Novice Jumps With Weaves Title! 

Sadly, I don't get to cap and bold anything for Buddy, meaning, he did not Q in his Open Jumps With Weaves run :( There's always next time. 
  

Trial Results

We were at an agility trial today and the results are as follows:
Tilda didn't Q in jumps with weaves or standard. Jumps with weaves she knocked a bar, but otherwise the run was great! In standard she knocked a bar again. She also took a wrong jump, but that might have been my fault. But, like the JWW run, it was great besides the knocked bar and the wrong jump.

Gracie also did not Q in both jump w/ weaves and standard also.

Buddy did not Q in Open Jumps W/ Weaves. We left before Buddy did his standard run and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm thinking Buddy didn't Q in Standard either, but you never know. Sorry for not a lot of details about Buddy and Gracie's runs.

Are These Tilda Proof?

These toys have already been on here and are we already know they are not Tilda proof. But, a couple nights ago I was playing with Tilda and this is what happened:

Bunny Rabbit's head came off. 

Purple Doggie came apart. 

 

It happened all in the same night too! :)

Are these toys Tilda proof? Well, we already had these and they were not Tilda proof. So, I don't have a reason to change it, because they're even worse off now.

Sorry I haven't posted lately, it's almost been two weeks. Not really a whole lot of new dog stuff going on around here. We spent some time at Buddy and Gracie's house. Of course the dogs had a great time :)

I have been practicing on Tilda's jumping. Practice, practice, practice is the only way she is going to get better. She has been doing pretty good. But she still needs more practice. Our next trial is the second week in December. We're signed up for two days, and so is Buddy and Gracie.

Number of Qs for each dog:
Buddy: 0 Qs in Open Standard, 0 Qs in Open Jumps W/ Weaves
Tilda: 2 Qs in Novice Standard, 2 Qs in Novice Jumps W/ Weaves
Gracie: 1 Q in Novice Standard, 2 Qs in Novice Jumps W/ Weaves

Should be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully Tilda won't knock any bars :)

Well, we haven't had a "Is This Tilda Proof?" post for a while. This is the toy she got at the agility trial on Oct. 2nd. It was Tilda proof for about a month. Either it really was Tilda proof for a month, or Tilda wasn't really in to it.

They give info in block ratings on the dog breed you are looking at. They also have written out info on the dog breed. Check this link out.

Here is link #3 from my list.

Clean Run

This is in my list because it is an agility site. They sell a bunch of items, such as gear, books, videos, and they also have a magazine. Never got the magazine, but it probably has lots of good stuff in it. Clean Run also has a course designer. I tried out the 30 day free trial. It was nice. Only thing is that it was kind of plain, but I do like cool design, color, and cool features, but that's just me. It still was kind of cool though and it did design a course like it's supposed to :) I'm not saying that it didn't have any cool features. You could make the tunnel a special length and I think you could add color to the obstacles too, but I might be wrong because it was a little while ago when I tried it. It was a nice course designer though. Check this site out too.

10/30/2010 Trial Pictures And Videos

No action pictures of Tilda, but I have videos. I have action pictures of Buddy and Gracie though. 

The trial had placement toys, so this was the toy I picked out for Tilda. 

I had some trouble uploading the JWW video. Maybe I'll get it on here soon.

Second Place All Around

Lots of agility results at today's trial! Out of the three dogs Buddy ran first in open standard. He didn't qualify however. Next Tilda ran in novice standard. She also did not Q. We had some things happen, like she missed a jump and then took it the other way, and a little trouble with the weaves, but the big thing was her knocking the bars of the double bar jump. Going back and watching the video, from what I can tell, it looks like Tilda would have Q'd of it wasn't for the jump. Gracie's run in novice standard was good. She qualified and took second which means she got her first Q in standard!

All three dogs ran in novice jumps with weaves. Tilda ran first and qualified with 90 points! Tilda also got second place!Gracie Q'd and got second! That gave her a double Q! Buddy had a very good run. He qualified and got second. That means Buddy got his
Novice Jumps With Weaves Title!
Now Buddy can move on to open jumps with weaves.

Since there are pictures of the breeds, you can see what they look like. Along with the picture there is a lot of info on the breed. The website rates the dog in many ways. Besides the ratings, they write about it too. Lots of good info, check this one out too.

Also, agility trial tomorrow with Tilda. Buddy and Gracie will also be running. Watch for results!

AKC (American Kennel Club)

I have this link in my list because it's the AKC. It gives you all kinds of info. You can search for events, such as agility, obedience, conformation and more. You can see all the breeds that they recognize along with the breed standards.They have info on getting started in an event. They have a whole bunch of stuff on their website that I'm not going to even mention. Go check it out!

Back To Agility

Haven't been up to a whole lot around here. Few days ago we went to the pet store, so we took Tilda along. One of the things we got Tilda was a chew braid bone. She has been walking around finding places to hide it. It's quite cute.

I've started practicing agility with Tilda. I gave here a break, so it stays fun and she doesn't get over done or bored. The main thing is her jumping. I'm thinking her jumping is just going to take some time. Yesterday was when I started her back up with agility. She has had a break since her last trial, which was October 16th.

Tilda's next trial, along with Buddy and Gracie is October 30th.

Now Tilda's videos. I never said what her times were yesterday. JWW was 30.26 seconds and Standard was 65.75 seconds. She was a little slow on the standard course, I think she was tired.
