Homemade Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Tilda loves sweet potatoes! So, I made my own sweet potato treats. They are so simple to make.

Step 1: Wash/rinse sweet potatoes and cut them up into thin circles. Or really any shape you would like, just somewhat thin.
Step 2: Lay foil on pan.
Step 3: Spray foil with a non-stick spray.
Step 4: Lay cut up sweet potatoes on pan.
Step 5: There really isn't a lot of science involved. Heat oven to about 200 degrees F. Place the pan in the oven. I really don't know how long they stayed in the oven, probably about a couple of hours, plus some time sitting out. All I can say is just to keep a little eye on them.

Your end result should be a healthy sweet potato treat for your dog.

If I were to make these again, I'd maybe do a little less time in the oven, as they are a bit hard. I wanted them to be somewhat hard, but maybe not quite this hard.

Tilda has tried some already and likes them! I even tried one. They weren't too bad, they do taste like sweet potatoes; I just might like mine with a little oil and salt :) But, Tilda doesn't need all that salt and oil.

These sweet potato treats are such a healthy treat! It's just sweet potatoes. No bad chemicals added, nothing from china, no colors added, etc., just sweet potatoes! You can even eat them if you'd like.

Enjoy!
