Tilda did great last night at class. It was our last class in the session, but we will be taking another one. We have a week off and then we start the new session. I don't know if Tilda needs any more practice there, but it is fun and good to get her out of the back yard and around other dogs. There was a different dog at class last night that I knew from when I did classes with Buddy, but Tilda never met her. She is a Husky and I wasn't sure how that was going to go over, I didn't want Tilda getting scared again. Tilda did pretty good with her though. They both seemed like they wanted to play.
Anyways, Tilda did great with agility. We ran the full course right away and then worked on the parts each dog had trouble with. Tilda's hard spot was that the tunnel and dog walk were right next to each other. Tilda had to go through the tunnel but she started going up the dog walk. So, we all worked on that part and then we worked on the parts the other dogs had trouble. Then we ran the full course again. Tilda had a little trouble in the full course the second time, she started taking the a-frame instead of a tunnel. She didn't do that the first time. Her first course time was 51 seconds and her second course time was 61 seconds. Not bad for a 18 obstacle course.
I also worked with Tilda on jumping a little. She jumps so early she sometimes knocks a jump bar. So the instructor had me try something.
Gracie is still in our class and will be doing another session with us. She is doing pretty good. It won't be long and she will be doing a trial. Gracie will be 15 months on August 19th.
